Avocado Pico de Gallo Salad

A refreshing twist on traditional salsa, this Avocado Pico de Gallo Salad is bursting with fresh tomatoes, creamy avocado, zesty lime, and crisp onion. It’s perfect as a side dish, dip, or taco topping for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados, diced
  • 3 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1 small white onion, finely chopped
  • 12 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 large lime
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, onion, jalapeños, and chopped cilantro.
  2. Gently fold in the diced avocado.
  3. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the mixture and season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Stir gently to combine, making sure not to mash the avocado.
  5. Serve immediately as a salad, dip, or taco topping, or chill for 15 minutes for enhanced flavor.
