Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions or chives, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cheddar cheese, cream cheese, chopped bacon, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.

  5. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  • Can be prepared ahead and frozen before frying.
  • Serve with ranch, honey mustard, or spicy aioli for dipping.
