4.3 from 34 reviews

This Chicken Alfredo Monkey Bread is a deliciously cheesy, pull-apart bread featuring tender shredded chicken coated in creamy Alfredo sauce, combined with biscuit dough and two kinds of cheese. Baked to golden perfection in a bundt pan, it makes for a perfect appetizer or main dish that’s both comforting and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Mixture

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great!)
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Biscuit and Cheese

  • 3 cups refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Garnish

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking your monkey bread.
  2. Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well to evenly coat the chicken with the flavorful sauce and spices.
  3. Cut the Biscuit Dough: Take the refrigerated biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. This will create bite-sized pieces perfect for the monkey bread.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Add the biscuit pieces to the chicken mixture bowl. Gently toss everything together to coat the biscuit dough in the Alfredo chicken sauce without breaking them apart.
  5. Add Cheese: Fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese and half of the grated Parmesan cheese into the mixture, distributing the cheese evenly to ensure melty, cheesy bites.
  6. Assemble in the Pan: Grease a bundt pan thoroughly to prevent sticking. Layer the chicken, biscuit, and cheese mixture evenly in the pan, pressing lightly to fill all gaps. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the top for a golden crust.
  7. Bake: Place the bundt pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the monkey bread is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove the pan from the oven and allow it to cool for 5 minutes. Carefully invert the pan onto a serving platter to release the monkey bread. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a burst of color and fresh flavor.

Notes

  • Serve warm with extra Alfredo sauce on the side for dipping to enhance the flavor.
  • This dish pairs wonderfully with a fresh green salad or a side of roasted vegetables to balance the richness.
