Cookies & Cream Puff Pastry Waffle

Crispy golden puff pastry baked to perfection and topped with a rich cookies & cream whipped mousse and crushed chocolate sandwich cookies—this indulgent dessert is a dream for Oreo lovers. Perfectly decadent, fun, and photo-ready.

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (plus more for topping)
  • 1 whole chocolate sandwich cookie for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the puff pastry sheet into a waffle-sized square or rectangle. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
  3. Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  4. Fold in crushed cookies gently to make cookies & cream mousse.
  5. Once the puff pastry is cool, pipe or spoon the mousse generously over the top.
  6. Sprinkle with additional crushed cookies and garnish with a whole cookie in the center.
  7. Serve immediately for best texture.

  • Make sure puff pastry is fully thawed for even baking.
  • Chill your mixing bowl and beaters for best whipped cream texture.
  • This dessert is best assembled just before serving to maintain crispness.
