Creamy Date Almond Smoothie

A naturally sweet, creamy smoothie made with Medjool dates, almond butter, and hemp seeds. Perfect for breakfast or post-workout fuel, this smoothie is thick, luscious, and packed with nutrients.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 4 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup ice (optional for a colder smoothie)
  • Toppings: chopped almonds, hemp seeds

Instructions

  1. Add the almond milk, banana, pitted dates, almond butter, hemp seeds, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and ice (if using) to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy, about 30–45 seconds.
  3. Pour into a chilled glass and top with chopped almonds and a sprinkle of hemp seeds.
  4. Serve immediately with a reusable straw and enjoy cold.

Notes

  • Use fresh banana if you prefer a thinner smoothie.
  • Soak dates in warm water for 5 minutes if not soft.
  • Substitute almond butter with peanut or cashew butter if desired.
