Frozen Banana Peanut Butter Bites Dipped in Chocolate

Frozen banana rounds sandwiched with peanut butter, dipped in dark chocolate, and topped with chopped nuts. A no-bake, wholesome treat perfect for snacking, dessert, or post-workout energy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe but firm bananas, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped roasted peanuts or almonds

Instructions

  1. Line a tray with parchment paper. Spread a little peanut butter on half the banana slices and top with the remaining slices to form banana “sandwiches.”
  2. Freeze the banana bites for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  3. Meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  4. Dip each frozen banana sandwich into the melted chocolate to coat fully. Place back on the tray.
  5. Sprinkle the tops with chopped nuts before the chocolate sets.
  6. Return to freezer for 10 minutes or until chocolate is firm. Serve frozen or slightly thawed.

Notes

  • Use almond or sunflower seed butter as a peanut-free alternative.
  • For extra crunch, roll in crushed pretzels or granola after dipping.
  • Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.
  • Great for kids—let them help assemble and decorate.
