Mini Grilled Mozzarella & Pepperoni Panini Bites

Bite-sized grilled paninis filled with melty mozzarella, savory pepperoni, and Italian herbs—ideal for party appetizers or quick snacks.

Ingredients

  • 12 small slider buns or baguette slices
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • Marinara or creamy dipping sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat a panini press or grill pan.
  2. Slice buns in half and spread butter on the outer sides of each half.
  3. On the unbuttered side, layer mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices, then sprinkle with Italian herbs.
  4. Close the sandwich with the top bun, buttered side facing out.
  5. Grill in the panini press for 2–3 minutes until cheese melts and bread is golden with grill marks.
  6. Serve warm with marinara or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a slice of tomato or a drizzle of pesto before grilling.
  • Use turkey pepperoni or vegetarian pepperoni for a lighter or meat-free version.
  • If you don’t have a panini press, use a skillet and press sandwiches down with a spatula or heavy pan.
