Mini Guacamole Cups with Mango Salsa

Crispy tortilla cups filled with creamy guacamole and topped with sweet and spicy mango salsa – these vibrant bite-sized appetizers are perfect for parties, summer gatherings, or any time you want to impress with fresh, bold flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1 small tomato, diced
  • 1 tablespoon red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon jalapeño, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 12 mini tortilla cups or scoops
  • Extra cilantro leaves for garnish
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mash avocados with lime juice, red onion, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, combine diced mango, tomato, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, and salt. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of guacamole into each tortilla cup.
  4. Top each with a generous spoonful of mango salsa.
  5. Garnish with a cilantro leaf and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • Make the guacamole and salsa ahead of time, but assemble cups just before serving to avoid sogginess.
  • Use store-bought tortilla scoops or bake your own using mini muffin tins and small tortillas.
  • Customize the salsa with pineapple or cucumber for a twist.
