Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp beetroot powder
  • 1 pinch cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Heat the milk and spices: Pour half of the milk into a saucepan and warm it over medium heat. Add 1 teaspoon of beetroot powder and a pinch of cinnamon to the milk. Stir occasionally and bring the mixture to a gentle boil to infuse the flavors.
  2. Froth the remaining milk: While the mixture is heating, use a milk frother, whisk, or blender to froth the remaining half cup of milk until it becomes light and airy with a creamy texture.
  3. Combine and sweeten: Transfer the hot beetroot and cinnamon-infused milk into a mug. Slowly pour the frothy milk on top and gently mix. Stir in the tablespoon of maple syrup or your preferred sweetener to taste.
  4. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle a little extra beetroot powder or cinnamon on top for added color and flavor. Optionally, add a pinch of dried lavender as a fragrant garnish before serving your cozy Pink Latte.

Notes

  • You can use any type of milk according to your preference: dairy, almond, oat, or soy milk.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup or using honey if desired.
  • To make a vegan version, choose plant-based milk and maple syrup as the sweetener.
  • If you don’t have beetroot powder, you can use fresh beet juice but reduce the quantity slightly to avoid overpowering the drink.
  • For best results, serve immediately to enjoy the frothy texture and warm flavors.
