  • 3 Belgian-style waffles
  • 6 slices smoked salmon
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • Fresh dill, to garnish
  • Fresh parsley, to garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast the waffles until crispy and warm.
  2. In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt with lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place waffles on a serving plate and layer each with smoked salmon slices.
  4. Top with avocado slices and a dollop of the yogurt mixture.
  5. Sprinkle with capers and garnish with fresh dill and parsley.
  6. Serve immediately while the waffles are still warm.

Notes

  • Use store-bought or homemade waffles.
  • You can substitute crème fraîche or sour cream for yogurt.
  • Best served fresh, not suitable for reheating.
