Delicate spinach and ricotta-filled ravioli bathed in a velvety garlic cream sauce, topped with sun-dried tomatoes and freshly cracked black pepper. A luxurious yet comforting dish that’s perfect for elegant dinners or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 oz fresh spinach ricotta ravioli (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook ravioli according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Stir in the cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Gently add the cooked ravioli into the sauce and toss to coat.
  5. Top with sun-dried tomatoes and freshly cracked black pepper.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

  • Use homemade ravioli for an elevated version of the dish.
  • For a lighter sauce, substitute half of the cream with milk.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste and add more cheese if desired.
