Instructions

  1. Melt the Butters and Chocolates: In a large stock pot over low heat, combine the unsalted butter, Kraft caramel bits, milk chocolate chips, and whole milk. Gently heat while pushing down on the caramel bits as they soften to help them melt faster. This slow melting process takes about 10-15 minutes to avoid burning the mixture.
  2. Add Marshmallows: Stir in the marshmallows constantly until they have completely melted into the mixture. Once melted, promptly remove the pot from heat to prevent overcooking.
  3. Incorporate Rice Krispies: Quickly add the Rice Krispies cereal to the melted mixture and stir thoroughly to ensure all the cereal is well coated while the mixture is still warm and pliable.
  4. Shape the Cookies: Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or foil and lightly grease it. Use a heaping 3-tablespoon scoop to drop the mixture onto the sheet. Lightly flatten each cookie with a small piece of parchment paper or the bottom of a measuring cup once they have slightly cooled to prevent sticking.
