- 1/2 cup tahini (well-stirred)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds, for topping
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a mini muffin tin with liners or lightly grease.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together tahini, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Stir in cocoa powder, almond flour, and baking soda until fully combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Spoon the batter evenly into the muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Sprinkle tops with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the tops are set but the centers are still soft.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Serve warm or chilled.
Notes
- Use runny tahini for best texture and mixing.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
